My @SpelmanCollege girls left today. Meu Deus! Que triste. I went with them to the airport at 4a this morning. I can’t believe it’s been 5 weeks. So much has happened. I am very proud of them. They came through and really did their thing! I am happy that I was able to be a part. I dedicate this song to them. It talks about the beauty and magnificence that black women have. I know it’s not the end. But this chapter is closed. I am looking forward to seeing what they do now. They learned so much and taught me many things, as well. I am honored.
